What Facilities do you have for hire?

We have a large Main Hall that can accommodate up to 150, reducing to 100 when the tables and chairs are in use; and a Common Room that can a maximum of 50, reducing to 30 with tables and chairs. The current charge is £25 p/h for the Main Hall and £20 p/h for the Common Room.

Do have bar facilities?

Yes – for adult parties in the Main Hall a fully licensed bar can be requested and there is an extra £50 charge for this. Bar bookings are subject to availability and at the discretion of the Bar Manager.

Do you provide tables and chairs?

Yes – we have tables and chairs that hirers may use. Just let us know what you require when booking and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Is the Community Centre fully accessible?

Yes – all our facilities are on the ground floor with ramp access, and we have a disabled toilet.

Can I decorate the rooms for my party/function?

Yes – we ask that you are careful not to damage the paintwork and the walls when decorating. There are certain things we do not allow because of the mess they cause, and this is clearly set out in the Terms & Conditions. If in doubt, please ask.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes – we require a refundable deposit from all hirers. If your function includes the bar then the deposit is £150, for all other events the deposit is £50. Deposits are returned in full if the rooms are left in a clean and tidy state. We reserve the right to make charges for any extra cleaning/repairs to damage required.

How do I make a booking?

Complete the enquiry form on the website, give us a call on 02392 476382  or email support.leighpark@cfirst.org.uk to check the availability of your preferred date.  You will need to come into the Centre to complete some paperwork and pay a 10% holding deposit to secure your booking. Full balance will need to be paid in full 2 weeks before your function. Payments can be made in instalments to help spread the cost.
